The Secret of Saint Nicholas tells the story of Saint Nicholas in a very interesting and engaging way. There are so many stories that have been part of this legend of Saint Nicholas that it is always an entertaining read for young children. His love for Jesus, God and children is explained from the childhood of Saint Nicholas.

Dealing with death is difficult for anyone, explaining it to children is difficult. “When Someone Dies: Find Comfort in Jesus” is a great book to deal with this topic. This sweet book is very cleverly written by Julie Stiegemeyer. This can bring comfort to a child facing the death of a pet or grandparent by explaining the circle of life and the importance of keeping faith with God.

My personal favorite book in this selection is “The Nativity Story”, this is a simple but quite sweet book that offers insight into the story of Jesus. The illustrations are so sweet, along with some really nice ways to spend Christmas. The book comes with some cool stickers too.
