Widely recognized as a naturalist’s paradise, Annapurna is a series of peaks in the Himalayas of Nepal. This mountain is situated to the east of a large gorge cut through the Himalayas by the Kali Gandaki river. The beautiful mountain has large snow-covered glaciers on its western and northwestern slopes that flow into this gorge.
